[La-cgs] Question about grad cert. and related admissions

Dear Council members:
At Louisiana Tech, a student pursuing a graduate certificate or someone who is simply taking a course (we call it "Life Long Learning") are admitted as "Conditional" by default. Are we required to do that? I don't see any policy in the UL System that applies to graduate certificate admissions/academic standing. Please let me know what policy/policies you have in these cases. Thank you.
