Dear Graduate Dean Colleagues,

I hope this hot July finds  you  doing well! I wanted to drop you a quick note that I have stepped down as the Dean of the Graduate School at LSU, and moved into the position of Special Advisor to the Provost for Graduate Education. I am sure that you will be hearing from the new dean, who was appointed last Wednesday.

I am sending this note to you from my personal email - since the dean's email is no longer where you can reach me - so it would be great to hear how things are going from your end.

I have very much enjoyed working with you all over the past four years, and learned a lot from you too. I do hope that we will be able to stay in touch and continue to share our experiences. This email is my permanent personal LSU email.  All the best wishes, and thanks to all for being great collaborators!
