I hope this hot July finds  you  doing well! I wanted to drop you a quick note that I have stepped down as the Dean of the Graduate School at LSU, and moved into the position of Special Advisor to the Provost for Graduate Education. I am sure that you will

 be hearing from the new dean, who was appointed last Wednesday. </div>
