Nancy:  Thanks for sharing!  We do waive for earned degrees from the US as well as for those with 4 years of high school in the US.

Jason: Some of our programs do an interview regardless of the score provided.



Ramu: Starting the spreadsheet is a great idea!  If we can complete it, it would be a great resource for us going forward!  The LSUS list grew out a list from Southern Arkansas University from where our first Director for International Students came from.  It is a bit different from the LSU list.



Carol: I found the attached list from Rockland Community College (SUNY system) that is supposed to be based on the CIA World Fact Book.

Thanks for asking for this-it's also been on my to do list.  Here's the UNO graduate list (UG also includes Ghana):



Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Canada (except Quebec), Cayman Islands, Dominica, Gibraltar, Grenada, Guyana, Republic of Ireland, Jamaica, Montserrat, New Zealand, Nigeria, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad & Tobago, Turks and Caicos Islands, U.K. (England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales),  U.S.A.



As for logic, I inherited the list and was told it reflected the CIA list of countries with English as the official language but I haven't found that to be the case.  I would also be curious if other schools waive English proficiency tests if the student completed an undergraduate degree completely in English.

We are currently reviewing the list of countries from where students are eligible for exemption from the language proficiency test requirement.  Currently, our list is as follows:
