[La-cgs] Hotel rooms in Lafayette

Thank you, Ramu!  I am wondering if ULL has any arrangements with local hotels.  Mary will probably let us know soon.

With regard to the agenda,  Here are the slots that we potentially have:

March 23

12:00     Lunch/Welcome

12:45 – 1:45

1:45 –  2:30

2:30        Break

2:45 - 3:30

3:30 – 4:15

4:15 – 5:00

March 24

8:30        Breakfast/Welcome

9:00 – 9:45

9:45 – 10:30

10:30     Break

10:45 – 11:30

11:30 – 12:00     New Officers/Planning Ahead


May be we can start slotting in topics to get an agenda going.  We also traditionally have a session on “CSGS (and CGS) Update”.

All:

We are looking forward to meeting in Lafayette, LA starting around noon on March 23, and finishing around noon on March 24. It seems that the Hilton Garden Inn at the Cajundome is booked up. I could not get a room there for less than $250/night (and, at that, I will have to impersonate military personnel). The Double Tree appears to be sold out. I did manage to get a room at the Hampton Inn at the State rate of $96/night. It is a fair distance from the campus. I recommend you grab a room somewhere fairly soon.

The agenda as it stands now is attached. At this point it is just a list of topics. I don't think we will be able to discuss all of them. We need to do some prioritizing, decide which topic to discuss when, etc., over the next few days.
