Greetings, all. I trust everyone has had an enjoyable and productive summer, and that preparations for Fall are going well. I wanted to let everyone know that Dr. Mary Edith Stacy is leaving Northwestern to join her husband in Dallas where he serves as the CEO of the Dallas Safari Club. I am very grateful for her work as Dean of The Graduate School at Northwestern, and wish her all the best.

I will be taking back the duties as Dean of The Graduate School at Northwestern. Thankfully, Dr. Thomas Reynolds, Dept. Head of English, Languages, and Cultural Studies will be moving into a dual role as Dept. Head and Assistant to the Provost for Graduate Studies.

I am sure you all join me in wishing Dr. Stacy well, and in welcoming Dr. Reynolds.

Best wishes to all for a relaxing remainder of the summer. I look forward to joining this collaborative group again.
