Hi Nancy,
We will be sad to see you go, but at least we now have a potential guest speaker for LCGS meetings! 😊
All the best!
Sanjay

Subject: [EXT] [La-cgs] Change in roles and institutions
All,
As you all are aware, this year has brought a lot of changes and challenges to UNO. With restructuring, I became responsible for our SACSCOC reaccreditation, registrar’s office, university college, student success, and institutional effectiveness while keeping the graduate school duties. After many hours of careful consideration, I accepted a position at University of Louisiana at Lafayette as AVP of institutional effectiveness starting July 1. I’m excited to stay in Louisiana (and in the UL System) and work with the fabulous Mary Farmer-Kaiser!
I am very sorry to not fulfil my responsibilities as president of the Louisiana Council of Graduate Schools and will miss working with all of you very much. When I first arrived at UNO, your knowledge, collegiality, friendship, and support were my lifeline. I am not sure who will take over my duties as they relate to the graduate school but I will be sure to inform them of this group as an invaluable asset and support in working with our graduate population.
I hope our paths will cross in the future. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if I can ever be of assistance. My personal email is ncbiggio at gmail.com<mailto:ncbiggio at gmail.com> and I will be available via my UNO email until the end of June.
Thank you.
Nancy
