[La-cgs] [EXTERNAL SENDER] Retroactive Withdrawal for graduate students

We have a post-term withdrawal form initiated by the program director and approved by the Graduate Dean and the VCAA.

I typically look for some compelling reason with documentation before approving those.

We use the same retroactive drop form/process for graduate students that we have for undergrads.  The request goes straight to the Dean and he/she makes the final decision.

Does anyone have a policy that allows graduate students to retroactively appeal to withdraw from a class after the semester is over. McNeese has this for undergraduates, and we have a committee to review the documentation from a student appeal, but it has never been applied to a grad student. I'm curious how you handle these situations when they arise?
