Good morning, all! I am so sorry that I will miss this upcoming gathering, but there are too many ‘Provost-y’ things happening on campus that I need to be here. Northwestern will be represented by Dr. Laura Aaron, who is as Professor in our Graduate programs in the College of Nursing and School of Allied Health.

We can work with the hotel to arrange for a block of rooms, however I’ll need a count. Do you have a sense of how many will be in attendance?

I assume we have to call the hotel. The Hilton Honors website or the hotel website did not show any rooms at the State rate.

We are looking forward to meeting in Lafayette, LA starting around noon on March 23, and finishing around noon on March 24. It seems that the Hilton Garden Inn at the Cajundome is booked up. I could not get a room there for less than $250/night (and, at that, I will have to impersonate military personnel). The Double Tree appears to be sold out. I did manage to get a room at the Hampton Inn at the State rate of $96/night. It is a fair distance from the campus. I recommend you grab a room somewhere fairly soon.

The agenda as it stands now is attached. At this point it is just a list of topics. I don't think we will be able to discuss all of them. We need to do some prioritizing, decide which topic to discuss when, etc., over the next few days.
