[La-cgs] 100% On-line GA Funding

John,
Thanks for asking this question. It's a contentious issue that our campus is working through now now that flat rate tuition has been approved for online programs. Historically, if a grad student receives special pricing on tuition (e.g., package pricing, employee discount tuition), they have not been eligible to hold an assistantship. Because all of our grad programs that offer 100% online delivery now benefit from flat-rate tuition, students in them are no longer eligible; to hold an assistantship, they must be in programs offered on-campus or hybrid formats.

Greetings,
I hope all is well. A question has come up and I need some input/suggestions. Have you ever funded a student enrolled in a 100% flat-rate, online program? And, if so, do you adjust the tuition waiver award to cover the additional costs?
Thanks,
John
