As you may know, the University is in the early stages of moving from Moodle to Canvas as our campus LMS. In order to prepare, the Center for Instructional Technology has offered for College of Business faculty to begin using Canvas this summer as a beta test that will allow us to get a head start on this transition. Since many of our Summer classes are conducted online, this will be a great opportunity to test the system's capabilities. We want to ensure this process is as streamlined as possible and plan to provide you with hands-on training and continuous support. To that end, you will be receiving an email from Whitney Sivils-Sawyer early next week with more information on Canvas and setting up "shell" courses for your Summer classes.

Whitney will also host two special training sessions for COB faculty:


  *   May 5 at 12:30 p.m. in room 226 (lunch will be provided; laptop required for this session)
  *   May 5 at 2 p.m. in room 106 (light snacks provided; classroom computers will be used)
