       This is just an FYI for those who might want to pursue it. I received notice that LSU will be the host to a quarterly meeting of the Digital Twin Consortium this coming December 8-10. The information copied below and in the links represent the sum of my knowledge as to its content. While there is a fee to attend the whole thing, there appears to be a session open to the public on 12/10. Model based systems engineering is also listed as a bullet point topic, along with energy applications and generative AI amongst others.

What's happening
The Digital Twin Consortium is the leading global organization advancing the use of digital twins across industry, government, and academia, and LSU is a proud member. Several times a year the consortium gathers its members to share research, compare notes, and shape where the technology goes next.

Having a meeting of this caliber in Baton Rouge is a rare chance for our students, faculty, and industry partners across Louisiana to connect with the people building this field, without leaving home. Thursday is open to the public
Thursday, December 10 is a Public Summit & Showcase, including student poster sessions. It's a great entry point if you want to see the work up close and meet the community.
