At Louisiana Tech, graduate students in the thesis (master's degrees) or <br>
dissertation tracks get an "I" grade for those hours until the <br>
thesis/dissertation is submitted. At that point, the required number of <br>

terms). Is that how you all handle it? Usually the "instructor" for <br>
these courses is the associate dean in the colleges who often has no <br>
idea how well or poorly the student is progressing.<br>
