<p class="MsoNormal">Happy Wednesday! I’m seeking opinions on handling time limit extensions for “expired” coursework either at your institution or transferred in. Right now, we require faculty from the appropriate department/subject area to confirm the student
“demonstrated competency at a level of B or higher” AND the graduate coordinator to confirm this course is still relevant to the degree. We have both coordinators and faculty ask how they should confirm the retained competency—exam, interview, project, work
experience, etc. I really want to leave this up to them and their expertise since our programs are all so different but they keep asking.<o:p></o:p></p>
