This is a useful exercise. Sanjay's list is quite extensive. I copied that into a spreadsheet, added Bermuda from Nancy's list, and indicated which countries UNO and Tech are exempting from proof of English proficiency. Of course, Puerto Rico is part of the USA, so that is automatically in for us (and, I assume, UNO too).<div><span style="font-size: 10pt"><br></span></div><div><span style="font-size: 10pt">If a student, regardless of citizenship, earns a degree from one of the exempt countries, we will not require proof of English proficiency. </span><div><div>Sanjay: Is this list adopted by the LSU System? I am curious to know the rationale for some of the choices. As for logic, I inherited the list and was told it reflected the CIA list of countries with English as the official language but I haven’t found that to be the case. I would also be curious if other schools waive English proficiency tests if the student completed
