    Dear LA Council:<br>

    We are trying to come up with a definition of a transfer graduate

    student, and it seems that there are policies at the UL System level

    and in our own Catalog about transfer admissions (GPA, good

    standing, eligibility to return, etc., etc.) but the definition is

    not clear.<br>

    <br>

    Is it understood or implied that a "transfer admission" applies to a

    student who is <u>enrolled elsewhere at the time of application</u>

    to your institution, or does it also apply to someone who dropped

    out of college for a while and is now applying to you? I know that

    we require transcripts of all previous college work regardless of

    the current or prior enrollment status at the time of application.<br>
