Call me pedantic, but I want to ensure everyone is aware of the new rule communicated today by the Provost.</div>

Before each drop day (the last day a student may drop a class and receive a "W"), the students MUST know their current grade in the class so they can make an informed decision.</div>

That means all grades up to that date must be posted somewhere the student can access! If you assign a homework assignment, it must be graded, and that grade posted. The same holds for quizzes and tests. You cannot assume the student is aware of their standing.
